The following is an HD video of Dr. Nick Calcaterra performing a laser labial frenectomy. The patient is 14 years old and had just completed orthodontic treatment in Orange, CT. A couple of notes about the video:
- The video lasts approximately 5 minutes. The actual time for the procedure (after local anesthesia was applied) was only 5 minutes.
- Although this patient was 14 years old, we routinely perform this procedures on patients eight and nine years old.
- At the end of the video, she says “I kinda forgot about it” and “it wasn’t like painful or anything really.” We see that for all of our patients!
